After seeing the buzz generated by the new Nike+ that allows you to connect your iPod to your running shoes, many clothing companies have been looking for a way to integrate the iPod into their clothes. Since Apple decided not to include the direct-to-USB feature on the new iPod Shuffle, it was only a matter of time until some accessory company developed a gadget that allowed you to plug the 2G Shuffle directly into your computer or laptop.
Well, Marware has created the new $20 Travel Dock that allows you to easily connect your Shuffle to your laptop using a device as big as a standard USB stick. The new Marware Travel Dock even has USB 2.0 support and can be purchased at Marware.com
The Detroit Pistons of the NBA (National Basketball Association) are selling $25 MP3 Players to help raise money for Detroit Medical Center’s breast cancer prevention program. I know what most of you are thinking. “A $25 MP3 Player, what is the catch?”
Well, the “original and new” MP3 Player is clearly a copy of the design of the first generation iPod Shuffle and it only has 128MB so it can hold a max of around 40 songs. Still, sales are for a good cause and has the Pistons logo on it so for all of you Detroit fans, you can get one here.

Finally, an iProjector prototype has been built. This potential iGadget takes a cheap projector and hooks it up to the 5th Generation Video iPod so you can see movies stored on your iPod on a 100”+ big screen or white wall.
This is just a prototype from Ion Audio, a company famous for making cool new gadgets, and it is currently unclear whether this project will ever come to the marketplace. However, if we get any more updates on the iProjector, we will update you.

Intempo has gone retro with their newest iPod dock. The dock is built for the iPod Nano and comes in metallic silver, green, blue, and pink to match whatever color iPod Nano you have. Unfortunately, there is no red version of this dock.
It looks pretty good, especially for colored Nanos, but if you have a white or black colored Nano and are looking for a more “sleek and modern” look, this is probably not the dock for you. If you are interested, its pretty cheap at $69.
For all you aspiring DJs with an iPod, I present the new iPod DJ Mixing Studio. This new $40 product looks half decent and lets you add sound affects and create custom tracks based off the songs and other audio files you have stored on your iPod. It allows you to “create your own digital mixing effects.”
